Albany External Gear Pump

The Gear type pump range, known as ‘G’ type, refers to Albany’s family of External Gear Pumps. They are available in horizontal, vertical or tank top mount variations.


These pumps are often used as lubrication pumps in machine tools, in fluid power transfer units, and as oil pumps in engines. They have tighter internal clearances compared to other pump types, which allow more reliable measurement of liquid passing through the gears and greater flow control.
