KEY BENEFITS OF THE AQUATRONIC UNIT

  • Correction of motor rotation if phases are improperly connected
  • Run mode (no panel needed)
  • Integrated start equipment (direct or soft start depending on pump model)
  • Motor protection against high temperature, high amperage and missing phase
  • Anti-clog function
If the optional level sensor is installed the pump will also have the following:
  • Precise level control
  • Protection against dry running
  • Energy save mode (energy is saved through stopping at dry run and starting by level sensor)

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Sulzer dewatering pumps are submersible centrifugal in type and are used to remove water collected in construction sites, tunnels, and mines. They suck the dirty water – which is circulated in the casing by the impeller – and later discharged to a wellpoint system or open sump. Depending on the type of water, a dewatering pump may use strainers to remove abrasives from the groundwater before being processed. A dewatering sludge pump, on the other hand, is used for moving thick, viscous fluids.
