Problem
The material is currently being pumped with an air-operated diaphragm pump. Due to the thickness and abrasive nature of the fluid, the diaphragm pumps kept failing and not being able to handle the required flow rate.
Solution
Placing an eccentric disc pump in place of the air-operated diaphragm pump. The flow rates are consistent-based on the viscosity. The eccentric disc pump can also draw product into the pump to assist with the flow of material through the pipework. The eccentric disc pump can also run dry allowing full evacuation of product from the pipework.
