The clog-free, high-efficiency N-impeller is designed to effectively handle fluids with high solid concentration and fibrous materials.
The pump's short shaft overhang design reduces deflection and increases seal and bearing life.
The motor design is engineered to shift heat losses around the stator core for improved cooling.
The series uses a double mechanical seal system with two sets of mechanical shaft seals, each working independently to provide reliable double protection.
The integrated Griploc system is designed to secure the seals to the shaft without rubber friction, grub screws and shaft damage.

N-Technology: Impeller and Hydraulics

The Adaptive N-impeller and Adaptive N-hydraulic technologies are unique to Flygt N-pumps, combining a special geometry, dual-blade impeller and other patented features to achieve higher efficiency, smoother operation and more uptime than other pumps.

Backswept leading edges: The N-impeller has optimised blade geometry with backswept leading edges to prevent any solid from sticking to the impeller.

Relief groove: This part functions as a guide for solids for their efficient transport along the edge of the impeller vane, through the volute and out of the pump.

Integrated guide pin: A pin in the insert ring that clears the centre of the impeller by pushing solids along the backswept leading edges to the periphery of the impeller.
