MAINTENANCE REQUEST FORMS: PUMP REPAIR REQUEST FORM | PICKUP REQUEST FORM
Grundfos diaphragm dosing pumps are precision devices designed to accurately inject chemicals or other fluids into a system. They are recognized for their accuracy, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, making them suitable for a variety of applications such as water treatment, chemical metering, and industrial processes.
Grundfos offers dosing pumps in both digital and mechanical designs. The digital dosing pumps are smart solutions tailored for complex dosing in less aggressive environments. They provide a high level of accuracy, which not only reduces chemical waste but also lowers energy costs. In contrast, Grundfos mechanical dosing pumps are known for their extreme durability, making them ideal for applications that require reliable dosing, high-pressure capabilities and minimal maintenance.
Digital Dosing Pumps
Mechanical Dosing Pumps
Grundfos digital dosing pumps are variable-speed pumps designed for precise and controlled chemical dosing in industrial and water treatment applications. They are known for their high accuracy, low pulsation, and exceptional efficiency and reliability.
Grundfos mechanical dosing pumps are a positive displacement pump with an external motor drive, designed for precise and controlled dosing of liquids into a larger process stream. These pumps are recognised for delivering smooth, low-pulsation dosing, durability, and minimal maintenance requirements.
Grundfos dosing pumps can be controlled either mechanically or digitally, providing a range of options for various applications. Both types use a flexible diaphragm driven by a motor to precisely dose fluids.
In the mechanical models, the pump head is connected to a motor, often through a worm gearbox that converts the motor's rotational motion into cam movement. This cam movement drives a piston that compresses the diaphragm within the pump head. When the piston pushes down, the diaphragm flexes and expels fluid through an outlet valve. The dosing capacity of the pump is controlled by adjusting both the stroke length and the stroke rate.
On the other hand, Grundfos digital dosing pumps utilise variable-speed stepper motors for more precise and continuous dosing. These pumps feature internal stroke speed control, allowing for smooth and continuous dosing without the need to adjust the stroke length. This design enhances accuracy and ensures consistent dosing, even when dealing with fluids of varying viscosity or degassing media.
Grundfos offers a variety of control options, including Flow Control Measurement (FCM), Flow Control (FC), Analogue Relay (AR), and more, allowing for flexible control tailored to different needs.
