Tsurumi's KRS, KRSU, KRS Slurry, KRS Energy Saving

The Tsurumi KRS pump range is a heavy-duty submersible dewatering pump powered by a 4 pole, three-phase cast iron motor. These pumps are ideal for high flow applications that involve a large volume of lar-sized solids in suspension. The KRSU pumps are designed for temporary bypassing of drainage in sewer construction works and are equipped with ductile cast iron semi-vortex impellers.

The KRS energy-saving pumps like the standard KRS pumps use ductile cast iron semi-open impeller uses technology to use lesser power than the standard pumps. Meanwhile, the KRS Slurry pumps use high-chromium semi-open impeller and an agitator to ensure the highest durability and reliability in moving slurries.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Tsurumi’s range of submersible pumps consist of vortex impeller and standard impeller types. Submersible centrifugal creates rotational energy to push liquid out to the discharge while vortex impeller pumps create vortex to pump liquid out. Generally, though, submersible pumps suck liquid into the pump as they sit at the bottom of a reservoir and push the fluid under pressure through the pipe out to the surface or a designated end location like a treatment facility.
