APCO Level Controllers 1010RP

APCO float-less, non-electric level controls are specifically designed for automatic ON/OFF operation of air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps. These controllers activate or deactivate the pump when the liquid level reaches a preset point. They are suitable for applications with pumps in suction lift, flooded suction, or submerged conditions.

Built from high-quality materials and rigorously tested, model 1010RP level controllers are known for their durability, ensuring reliable AODD pump operation even in challenging environments with foam, sludge, or solids. For deep sump applications or remote sensing needs, a two-piece unit is available. Since these controllers are entirely pneumatic, they are also safe for use in ATEX zones.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

As water rises in the sensing tube, the pressure generated lifts the diaphragm in the upper section of the valve head. Once the full differential pressure is reached, the pilot valve activates, controlling the main 1/2" valve to start or stop the pump.
