Flextool's P212 Series of Submersible Pumps

The Flextool submersible pumps are heavy-duty and highly efficient equipment built to survive the challenging conditions found in the construction, mining, concrete, drilling, and civil engineering industries. Although small in size, these Australian-made pumps are unbeatable at moving dirty and muddy water.

The P212 submersible pumps are completely self-priming and highly robust in their design. The flexible shaft drive facilitates use in many situations where close–coupled pumps are not suitable. The new FP212 series comes with flexshaft support springs, which protect the drive shaft when operating over the sharp edge of excavations, pits, and dams.

Principle of Operation

The Flextool submersible pumps are either diesel or petrol engine powered. As the engine starts, the impeller turns, forcing the water around it out of the pump’s discharge port. The partial vacuum created allows pressure to push water up the suction hose and into the suction side of the pump to replace the displaced water. When the water hits the rotating impeller, the energy of the impeller is transferred to the water, forcing the water out. The water is then displaced outward, and more water can now enter the suction side of the pump.
