Design Benefits of HPK Series

The wear parts in contact with liquid are protected by an innovative elastic lining, offering greater durability compared to metallic parts.
Constructed from highly wear- and corrosion-resistant materials
The pump is designed to handle fine-grained liquid-solid mixtures up to 3mm in size.
The impeller features a metal core, onto which Habermann’s specialised polyurethane, APFlex®, is cast.
Both rear sides of the cover plates are equipped with relief blades to reduce pressure on the gland packing, minimising backflow to the suction port.
The radially split outer casing is shielded against wear and corrosion by an APFlex® armored lining.

Available Options

Metal or mineral cast linings are available for abrasive and corrosive media, with a maximum grain size of 5 mm.
Wear-resistant, heat-treatable steel is used for the impeller and suction-side wear plates, depending on the grain size.
Closed or semi-open impellers with three or four channels are available to suit different needs.
