ProMinent Peristaltic Metering Pumps

Peristaltic metering pumps are used in a capacity range of between 10 ml/h and 410 l/h. They pump against a pressure of up to 8 bar. The incredible durability and wide range of chemical compatibility of the high-performance hoses used by ProMinent are particularly impressive.

Our DULCOFLEX peristaltic metering pumps ideally combine the benefits of peristaltic pumps and metering pumps. They therefore support batch or proportional flow dosing, for example. Depending on the medium, they meter with a precision of up to ±1 %. They can be networked with our fluid management platform using DULCONNEX, making remote monitoring possible. They are just as reliable as our other metering pumps, are self-priming and can handle outgassing media with ease. Thanks to the ingenious hose replacement processes, this task is completed in no time and requires very little material.

Principle of Operation

The hose in contact with the housing is disconnected by rollers sitting on a rotor. The rotary movement of the rotor moves the disconnected point in the desired pumping direction and the medium is pumped. Once the roller has pressed the medium through the hose in the dosing head, the hose is relieved again. The hose lines up again, produces negative pressure and fresh medium is drawn into the hose.

The feed rate can be increased in a linear fashion by increasing the rotor speed.

DULCOFLEX DFXA PERISTALTIC PUMPS

DULCOFLEX DFXa meters outgassing, viscous, abrasive or shear-sensitive media and is setting new standards in metering. Linear and reproducible metering (± 1 %) is guaranteed with this peristaltic pump under all process conditions. Hose replacement is a very simple process. Valve-free metering with the accuracy of a diaphragm metering pump, tapping into all the properties of a peristaltic pump. A brushless direct current motor forms the heart of the DULCOFLEX DFXa. Its ingenious control provides for precise metering and reduced pump capacity with continuous metering up to 10 ml/h.

DULCOFLEX DFYA PERISTALTIC METERING PUMPS

The valveless peristaltic pump DULCOFLEX DFYa guarantees precise, linear and reproducible metering in all process conditions. It meters gaseous, viscose, shear-sensitive media, possibly containing particles, with ease – ProMinent is therefore setting new standards in metering with peristaltic pumps.

The new metering pump DFYa, the big brother of the DFXa, adds an intelligent peristaltic pump. This is how they work: The feed chemical is pumped by the rotor clamping the hose to the top capacity range of the ProMinent portfolio.

The new generation of peristaltic metering pumps can now be controlled electronically. It meters without the need for a valve and with a level of precision not previously possible. And yet it retains all the benefits of a peristaltic pump, which is why highly outgassing, high-viscosity, abrasive or shear-sensitive fluids, sometimes containing particles, can also be perfectly metered with the DFYa.
