Tsurumi's C Range 

Tsurumi’s C Series comprises powerful cutter pumps that are designed to effectively shred soft solids found in sewage. The cutter pump mechanism of the C pumps features a combination of impeller vanes with one or two brazed sintered tungsten carbide alloy edges and a serrated suction cover. This tandem effectively catches and shreds solids into fine particles before they flow through the pump, preventing clogs.


The impeller vane tips are constructed using tungsten carbide alloy to resist wear and breakdowns. Advanced models called CR pumps are also available. These optimised pumps handle solids efficiently and smoothly, while maintaining high head and high volume.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Tsurumi’s C and CZ cutter pump series are innovative smashing pumps that use centrifugal force to collect wastewater from industries, infrastructures, and municipalities. A stationary blade works in tandem with an impeller blade to cut down solids on wastewater and sewage, sometimes stormwater too, as they enter the pump and flushed out under pressure to the discharge. When they come out of the pump, these solids are now in smaller sizes.
