MAINTENANCE REQUEST FORMS: PUMP REPAIR REQUEST FORM | PICKUP REQUEST FORM
The WANGEN Twin NG twin screw pump series features ingenious pumping technology that can eliminate all the common centrifugal pump problems, including time-consuming cleaning, frequent repairs, excessive wear, and costly facility downtime through its excellent CIP capability. In addition, the Twin NG is designed to move low to high viscosity, volatile, or gaseous fluids for applications that require maximum hygiene and efficiency.
Wangen also designed the Vario Twin add-on module with hopper and screw conveyor to enable the Twin NG pumps to handle more viscous and not flowable media for the standard twin screw pump.
The Wangen Twin Screw Pumps function on the principle of positive displacement. A set of two spindles located inside a closed compartment helps pull the liquid from the suction side of the pump as they rotate in opposite directions. A small gap is maintained between the casing inside the compartment and the rotating spindles. The spindles are fitted with timing gears at their ends. Besides these, a motor is used to start these pumps. The spindles pull the liquid towards the centre while maintaining a perfect hydraulic balance. In this way, the fluid efficiently passes towards the discharge end of the pumps.
