In a recent project, our team constructed a comprehensive pump package featuring a high-pressure plunger pump with a high-pressure discharge valve for a building products manufacturer. The client's system operates under constant high pressures, necessitating a pump capable of delivering their specified pressure and robust enough to endure their application's rigours. Our expertise in tailoring pump solutions to unique requirements was instrumental in this successful project.
Problem
A building supplies manufacturer needed a complete pump solution to handle its high-pressure application. They wanted a pump to deliver 300 bar of pressure and generate 50-60 litres per minute of flow onto the piping.
Solution
After thoroughly reviewing their system, All-Pumps recommended an Interpump high-pressure plunger pump coupled to a large WEG motor and assembled on a custom baseplate.

I - High-Pressure Plunger Pump and Custom
In this project, we meticulously selected an Interpump triplex plunger pump equipped with a 400-bar unloader valve to meet the client's 300-bar pressure requirement. This was coupled with the industrial-grade WEG W22 motor, renowned known for its unwavering reliability. The combination of these high-quality components ensures the pump's performance and longevity, providing our client with a dependable solution for their high-pressure application.

Plunger pumps, a type of positive displacement pump, are constructed with a high-pressure seal. This seal remains stationary while a smooth cylindrical plunger slides through it. This unique operating principle sets plunger pumps apart from piston pumps, making them highly practical and efficient at higher operating pressures. This technical advantage was a key factor in our selection of the Interpump high-pressure plunger pump for our client's application.
II - Custom Baseplate For High-Pressure Applications
The pump motor assembly was mounted on a custom baseplate our in-house engineering team designed. Our pre-engineered baseplates are low-cost and made of high-quality materials, designed for a range of pumps and motors used in various applications.
