Problem
An industrial process consultant was looking for a complete pump solution for their customer’s extremely high-pressure application. They required that the pump be made of premium materials to handle aggressive chemicals that must be pressurised to 300 psi at relatively low flow rates.
The Solution
All-Pumps worked on the application to offer a complete solution and a detailed General Arrangement and 3D drawing were also sent to the customer to provide a visual display of how the pump looks.
Project Highlights
In this project, we chose an Interpump 71 Series WK159 plunger pump and coupled it to a special WEG W22 motor to suit the customer’s requirements.
Interpump 71 Series high-pressure plunger pumps have robust plungers that can withstand very high pressures of up to 150 bar. They use a nickel-plated manifold and valve plugs, providing corrosion-resistant operation while handling the customer’s aggressive chemicals.
The pump motor assembly was mounted on a custom baseplate designed by our in-house engineering team. It was created specifically to meet the customer’s application requirements, especially in resisting corrosive environments.
