All Pumps Sales & Service were engaged to build a pump suitable for loading chemicals in a mining application for a key client. The challenges to be worked around with this job involved power supply limitation, a highly viscous product, and tight project lead time.
This means careful selection of stock components however also demanding robust positive displacement pumps with low shaft speeds and fine clearances for sake of efficiency.
Thankfully we had the capabilities and resources to build up these Tuthill Global Gear pumps from our Australian stock, coupled with WEG 8 pole motors on custom Stainless Steel bases along with NIDEC Variable Speed Drives for a good outcome for the client.
