MAINTENANCE REQUEST FORMS: PUMP REPAIR REQUEST FORM | PICKUP REQUEST FORM
Almatec’s Chemicor features metal air-operated double diaphragm pumps designed for a range of fluids, viscosities, and applications. In creating the Chemicor, Almatec mainly focused on the form of the product chambers, resulting in soft contours, smooth flow channels, and no dead spaces.
These aodd pumps incorporate various metallic materials to suit specific application requirements and ensure that all units are corrosion resistant. Models with a centre block made of PE conductive meet the ATEX requirements of the directive 94/9/EG.

Almatec Pumps use the conventional AODD pump technology and working principle. They move fluid by the alternate and repeated back-and-forth movement (strokes) of two flexible membranes or diaphragms mounted on a common shaft. Although diaphragm pumps can be driven directly, with the shaft connected directly to a motor, AODD pumps use compressed air with a sophisticated distribution system directing the air alternately to two air chambers on the opposite sides of the diaphragms.
AODD pumps are capable of handling abrasive, highly viscous fluids, sludges, slurries, and shear-sensitive fluids. AODD pumps are robust, reliable, easy to maintain, and relatively low cost. They tend to be general workhorse devices and are typically used for transfer applications in a wide variety of industries.
