Blacoh's Sentry Pulsation Dampeners

Blacoh pulsation dampener Logo
The Blacoh SENTRY is a series of pulsation dampeners designed to reduce pressure spikes and hydraulic shock in a fluid process system caused by positive displacement pumps. They are good preventive technologies for minimising the occurrence of agitation, foaming, splashing, and degradation of products. Apart from protecting the pumps from premature wear, pulsation dampeners are also engineered to enhance the all-around performance and reliability of pumps working in industrial and chemical transfer applications.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Blacoh Pulsation Dampeners work by supplying an equal pressure to the pulsation supplied by the pump. The Dampener delivers this pressure during the low-pressure points of the pump’s operation, as the pressure drops between pump strokes, creating a pulsating flow. The pressure provided by the dampener decreases pressure variations, therefore producing a steady flow from your Diaphragm Pump.
