MAINTENANCE REQUEST FORMS: PUMP REPAIR REQUEST FORM | PICKUP REQUEST FORM
The Powerflo air operated diaphragm pumps are known for their robust construction, high efficiency, and more affordable price tag than competitor brands. These AODD pumps are truly versatile, being engineered using different materials and come in many sizes. This means that they have a pump for all kinds of fluids. They are wear-resistant, submersible, capable of dry-running, continuously adjustable, resistant to dry running and freezing, and have a gentle displacement action for shear-sensitive products.
And by utilising flap valves instead of ball valves, Powerflo AODD pumps can handle larger solids, making them the ideal equipment to use in the food and beverage, mining, and wastewater treatment industries.
Powerflo AODD pumps are powered by compressed air. This compressed air is supplied to the pump through a common air vent. The air pressure pushes the shaft to the right or to the left to create suction and discharge strokes. At suction, the diaphragm is pulled by the shaft to the center. This causes the check valve at the suction port on the suction chamber to lift to let the fluid in. Simultaneously, the opposite diaphragm is placed in its discharge stroke. The check valve at the discharge port is lifted to let the fluid out. This cycle repeats as the shaft transitions the air pressure from the first diaphragm at suction to the opposite diaphragm.
