MAINTENANCE REQUEST FORMS: PUMP REPAIR REQUEST FORM | PICKUP REQUEST FORM
The new SaniForce pump systems are designed to save you time and money by pumping the most difficult materials – quickly and safely. GRACO’s range of drum unloaders is the excellent alternative to strenuous manual scooping. Additionally, its container evacuation systems can handle viscosities up to 2,000,000 cps with a 99% evacuation rate without heating or diluting contents.
For different applications, Graco drum pumps can include an elevator or other bin evacuation options with follower plates and inflatable seals for maximum evacuation efficiency and easy change out of drums and containers.

The SaniForce range of drum pumps utilise both centrifugal and positive displacement principles and are ideal for moving low to medium viscosity products. They feature lightweight, portable, and easy-to-use electric pumps that can be conveniently positioned on top of the drums that need to be unloaded.
Model | Viscosity | Flow |
---|---|---|
Centrifugal type | Up to 1,000 cps | Up to 132 lpm |
Centrifugal with washdown motor | Up to 50,000 cps | Up to 132 lpm |
Progressive cavity | Up to 100,000 cps | Up to 26 lpm |
Optimise the transfer of any low to medium viscosity ingredient with Graco’s range of piston pumps. These powerful and durable pumps effectively help reduce ingredient waste, boost transfer time, and eliminate safety concerns that leader to worker injury.
Model | Viscosity | Flow |
---|---|---|
SaniForce 2:1 | Up to 50,000 cps | Up to 5.7 lpm at 60 cpm |
SaniForce 6:1 | Up to 100,000 cps | Up to 15 lpm at 60 cpm |

SaniForce 12:1 | Up to 100,000 cps | Up to 32 lpm at 60 cpm |
The SaniForce Elevator system is the best alternative to unloading less than two containers of medium viscosity ingredients per hour, usually required in small to medium-sized facilities. It is designed to lower pumps into bins, drums, and totes and lift them out after transferring ingredients.
Model | Viscosity | Flow |
---|---|---|
2:1 Ratio SaniForce Elevator with Cart & Handle | Up to 150,000 cps | 53 lpm |
5:1 Ratio SaniForce Elevator with Cart & Handle | Up to 150,000 cps | 53 lpm |
6:1 Ratio Elevator with Cart & Handle | Up to 150,000 cps | 53 lpm |
Graco SaniForce pail unloaders make it simple to transfer medium and high viscosity fluids from ingredient pails. They eliminate strain and injuries caused by the repetitive carrying and unloading of pails, thus reducing production delays. Their sanitary design makes them ideal for most food, beverage and personal care applications.
The Graco SaniForce 2.0 Drum Unloader systems use either a piston or diaphragm pump. Both can evacuate medium to high viscosity ingredients from 55-gallon drums without diluting or heating them. Standard with an inflatable ram plate seal, the SaniForce Sanitary Drum Unloader also allows for quick replacement of the empty container. Finally, the modular design of the Graco drum unloading solutions allow a great amount of flexibility when building a system.
Model | Viscosity | Flow |
---|---|---|
SaniForce Piston Pump Drum Unloaders: SaniForce 5:1, 6:1 or 12:1 Piston Pumps | Up to 1,000,000 cps | 53 lpm |
SaniForce Diaphragm Pump Drum Unloaders: SaniForce 1590, 2150, or 3150 HS Diaphragm Pumps | Up to 100,000 cps | 568 lpm |
Graco bin evacuation systems are designed with out-of-the-box features and components that protect food from contamination. They are equipped with a pump ram with follower plate and inflatable seal that protects ingredients from exposure to external contamination and bacteria, thus ensuring maximum safety compared to dumping and scooping. Graco bin evacuation systems are the perfect solutions for medium to high viscosity ingredients.
Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps
Graco Air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps use compressed air as a power source. The compressed air is shifted from one chamber and then to the other side by a linked shaft. This movement allows the chambers to move simultaneously. This back-and-forth motion forces liquid out of one chamber and into the discharge piping while the other chamber is being filled with liquid at the same time. These pumps use reciprocating elastomeric diaphragms and check valves to pump fluid. The liquid chambers are filled and emptied by fluid that is drawn through a common inlet and discharged through a single outlet.
Piston Pumps
A piston pump’s working principle is similar to a positive displacement pump’s, operating with assistance from a pumping mechanism force to increase the volume of the liquid. Graco’s piston pumps are lift type. In this type of pump, the piston’s upward stroke causes the fluid to be drawn to the lower portion of the cylinder with the help of a control device called valve. Meanwhile, the downward stroke lets the fluid flow to the upper cylinder portion with the help of control devices which are arranged in the piston. After fluid is drawn upward, it is released outside the pump from the higher portion of the cylinder through a spout.
Electric Drum Pumps
Electrically operated drum pumps work by fitting into the top opening of a drum by way of its narrow tube, which houses a vertical shaft. The drum pump consists of a small motor attached to the shaft, which runs on an AC or DC electric motor. The motor turns on the drum pump via a switch. When the pump is actuated, its pumping mechanism comes from the base of the tube, which sucks up the content. The base of the tube relies on either a small centrifugal pump impeller or a rotor. Because of its modern design and quick transfer action, Graco electric drum pumps are the pump of choice in chemical plants, manufacturing plants, food and pharmaceutical processing plants, automotive shops, and other processing plants.
