The Problem

A local mine required a process water pump with the ability to maintain constant system pressure despite the fluctuations the discharge system may experience.

MINING IN AUSTRALIA

In order to fulfil that requirement the pump needed to:

The pump, accumulator and all associated instrumentation had to be provided as a complete self-contained package on a single base frame.

Our Solution

All Pumps Sales & Service designed and supplied the complete system for the client requested application.

The pump system uses a Southern Cross ISO Sovereign centrifugal pump. The pump is then coupled to an IP66 motor, after which they are mounted on a galvanised steel base along with discharge pipework.

THE COMBINATION OF PARTS ALLOWS THE PUMP TO HAVE CONSISTENT SYSTEM PRESSURE REGARDLESS OF CONDITIONS.

The discharge pipework includes:

To complete the project, the discharge pipework was also painted to the color specification provided by the client

Despite the difficulty in the client’s requirements, All Pumps was able to deliver the packaged pumping stations to the campsite on short notice.

The Problem

A newly constructed mine accommodation camp could not get gravity to an adjacent sewer line & required some sewage packaged pumping stations to make the camp compliant & operational.

The campsite was located in a remote location as is typical in mining accommodation camps. Our lightweight, one-piece HDPE or FRP designs are ideal for these applications. In addition, our client was faced with serious time constraints – no time to lose! All Pumps stocks a large number of packaged pumping stations & components making quick delivery possible.

Our Solution

All Pumps was able to fulfil the customer’s requirements within the given time constraints. This was thanks to us, and our stocking of components for the modular Aquaflo tank range and a wide range of pumps, controllers, and components. The job required, in total five (5) 20,000-litre pump stations, fitted with dual guide rail mounted grinder pumps and controls, plus an additional, three (3) bare 20,000-litre tanks for additional emergency storage.

To our client’s amazement & relief, all of the pumping stations & emergency storage tanks were delivered to site within the required two (2) week period. Without our breath of resource & capability, this would be impossible. Due to the lightweight design, on-site cranage is made simple often the machine doing the excavation can be used to remove the station from transport & install.Needless to say, our client was delighted!

All Pumps have recently completed a packaged sewage pumping station supply project on the Gold Coast in QLD

The Problem

The contractor wanted a one-piece “drop-in” unit complying with Gold Coast City Council requirements.

Our Solution

This sewage pump station was 2.0 metres diameter x 7.0 metres deep fitted with 900 x 900 integral valve chamber, aluminium checker plate lids complete with safety grates, the customer also requested a sewage muncher on the pump inlet which was installed on guide rails – giving the vendor peace of mind that any foreign objects or debris entering the pit is chopped in pieces prior to entering the pumps.

Sewage Pump Project Highlights

All Pumps packaged pumping stations can be moulded one piece with dimensions of 4.0 metres diameter x 12.0 metres deep – with no on-site assembly or sealing required, we also carry the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) appraisal.

The Problem

With the successful delivery of a previous project, our client requested All Pumps to supply the remaining pressure booster systems for the mining village. This time the requirement was for:

Our Solution

The project involved design selection of pumps, the design of electrical control panel, the design of pipework, factory acceptance, testing and delivery. The project had to be delivered within a fairly quick timeline. The triplex pump system included three (3) Grundfos CR pumps with individual DOL control boxes and one (1) multi-pump controller built to the mine specifications. It also included design and fabrication of 3.0m long 316SS suction and discharge manifold.

The Raw water pump system included one Grundfos CR pump working with a DOL control panel complete with 316SS pipework and valves. The irrigation pump system was similar to the Raw water pump system with the exception that the pump worked on a VASCO VSD which was included in the custom-built control panel. All control panels enclosed were stainless steel and were rated to IP56 with voltage and phase indicators. All suction and discharge pipework were fabricated to AS4041 requirements.
